Adobe Village RV Park in the Fortuna Foothills, Arizona, USA. Situated just of the US 8 near Yuma this park provided us a lot over the winter months. We stayed here from Dec 1 to mid March this year and we enjoyed our entire stay here.
The park is within walking distance to many stores and even a few restaurants. Though the area can be considered busy with traffic from the 8, which you can see from the park, it was not bad on the side streets where this park is. This park caters to the seasonal and winter snowbirds and it does fill up fast so if you are thinking of this area, get a hold of them as soon as you can. It is a 55+ park.
The park itself offers a beautiful, heated swimming pool with a very comfortable hot tub next to it. There is a games room with poker tables, pool tables, books and videos and they have several tournaments you can become a part of every week. They have a modern laundry facility and the sites are all full hook up and quite wide. The park has roughly 230+ spaces available.
They also have a large dinning area with kitchen where they make many meals through the season for their guests including a fantastic Christmas and Thanksgiving dinner. A mail room beside the office provides you with the means to accept deliveries of mail and parcels. Also included is free satellite hook up and the ability to order your own internet. They have outside entertainment from time to time and classes in various things of interest.
Their rate are very reasonable for the area, one of the lower ones but you also have to pay your own hydro. Something that most parks now are doing anyway.
Overall, our experience here was great, nothing bad to say. Like I said though, it fills up fast.
